Get more out of Ike

The answers to almost everything — how to move around a workout, fix a missed day, trim a session. Tap any question to expand it.

Your schedule

The stuff that trips people up most.

1Missed a day?

Don’t reschedule anything. Just start your next workout when you’re back — the plan rolls forward with you, and nothing is lost.

2Life changed your training days?

Tell Ike — it can move your workouts to other days, as long as you train the same number of days a week. To change how many days you train, ask your coach. Check the new week in your plan view after; if something looks off, say so and Ike will fix it.

“I can’t train Thursdays anymore — move me to Tue/Wed/Sat”
3Traveling, or training somewhere new?

Hotel gym, dumbbells only, no bench at home — tell Ike what you’ve got and it adjusts today’s workout. Your coach’s plan survives.

“I’m at a hotel gym with only dumbbells up to 50 lb — adjust today’s workout”

In your workout

Small taps that solve real gym-floor problems.

4Not sure how to do an exercise?

Tap the ▶ on an exercise in your workout for a short form video. Or just ask in chat.

“Show me a tutorial for Romanian deadlift”
5Machine taken?

Do it out of order. Use the ‹ › arrows next to the exercise name (or swipe) to move to another exercise, or tap any exercise on the rest screen to jump straight to it. Nothing gets marked skipped for moving around — that only happens when you end the workout, so you can always circle back.

Or replace it. If a movement doesn’t feel right, tell Ike — it offers alternatives that hit the same muscles.

6Want dumbbells instead of the barbell?

Tap the equipment label under an exercise (Barbell, Dumbbell, Band...) to switch — your target weight adjusts to your history with that equipment.

7Rest timer too slow or too fast?

It’s yours: −15s / +15s, or skip it entirely. The workout keeps pace with you.

8Logged the wrong weight?

Logged 25 lb instead of 225? Open the workout, ⋯ menu → Edit Sets — you can fix any set after the fact. Did a different exercise than the card says? Tell Ike — it notes what you actually did and swaps it going forward.

“I did glute bridges instead of hip thrusts — note it and swap it going forward”

Weights & progress

9Not sure what weight to use?

Ike suggests based on your history. First time on a lift, it runs a quick calibration set to find your working weight.

10Where’s my history?

Open any exercise for your recent sessions and best sets. Star exercises you care about to track them in Favorites.

11Is this actually working?

Ike tracks every set — ask for the trend anytime and get a real answer with real numbers.

“How am I progressing on squats?”

Just ask Ike

Type it your own way — Ike gets it.

12Only have 30 minutes?

Tell Ike before you start — it trims the session instead of you guessing what to cut.

“I only have 30 minutes today”
13Something hurts?

Ike adjusts today’s work and keeps a private note about it. Real pain = tell your coach.

“My knee’s acting up”
14Don’t know what a term means?

EMOM, RPE, tempo, “what’s a goblet squat” — Ike explains anything in your plan, mid-workout included.

“What does EMOM mean?”
15Just got a new plan?

Open the plan and tap Activate Plan. Then ask Ike about any exercise in it, so nothing’s unfamiliar on day one.

“Show me the videos for every exercise in my new plan”

Good to know

The quick answers.

16How do I finish, or end early?

When your last set is logged the workout wraps on its own. To stop early, tap End — anything you didn’t log is marked skipped, and everything you did is saved.

17I’m on Android — can I use Ike?

Yes. Open ike.fit in your phone’s browser — coaching, plans, and workout logging all work there. The iPhone and Apple Watch apps are iOS-only today.

18Do I need an Apple Watch?

No — everything works from your phone. If you wear one, your sets, rest timer, and live heart rate come to your wrist, and you can start a strength workout from the watch while your phone is nearby.

19Does Ike work with Apple Health?

Yes. Rides, runs, and walks you record on the watch land in Apple Health and inform your coaching — your training history stays in one place.

20What does it cost?

It’s included with your District membership.
