FAQ

Questions from members

Straight answers about your data, your trainer, and your account.

What does Ike see?

What you tell it in chat; your profile (age, experience, goals, schedule, equipment, and any injuries, health conditions or health notes you enter); your plan and workout history; the facts Ike has saved about you; and Apple Health, if you turn it on.

To answer you, Ike sends this to its AI provider, Anthropic, with your first name only, never your email. Anthropic does not train its models on it.

What does my trainer see?

Your profile, including the injuries, health conditions and health notes you’ve entered. Your plans and every workout you log, including workouts you import from Apple Health. Messages you send them. And any fact you choose to share from What Ike knows.

Your trainer does not see your chats with Ike, the notes Ike takes from them, or your Apple Health sleep and activity.

Can I see and change what Ike has saved about me?

Yes. Open What Ike knows (Settings on ike.fit) to see everything Ike has saved. Anything Ike saves from chat is private until you tap Share with coach, and you can make it private again or delete it. Facts saved before this fall may already be shared, so it’s worth one look.

What happens if I leave my trainer or gym?

Your account is yours. Your plans, workout history and what Ike knows stay with you, and you can keep using Ike on your own. Your trainer loses access to your account.

If your coach was assigned by your gym, ask the gym to remove the link. For a copy of your data, email support@ike.fit.

How do I delete my account?

On iPhone: Settings → Delete Account. On ike.fit: Settings → General → Delete Account. It deletes your profile, plans, workouts, chats and everything Ike has saved about you, and it can’t be undone.

If you subscribe through Apple, cancel in your Apple ID subscriptions too; deleting Ike does not cancel it.

Does Ike work with Apple Health?

Yes, if you turn it on in Settings → Apple Health. Ike can read your workouts, sleep, steps, active energy, exercise minutes and heart rate, and uses them when you ask about your training.

The iPhone app doesn’t write to Apple Health; the Apple Watch app saves the cardio workouts you record with it. Your trainer sees the workouts you import, not your sleep or activity. Turn it off any time and Ike stops reading it.

Do I pay for Ike?

If you joined through your gym, no: Ike is included and you won’t be asked to upgrade. On your own, Ike is $4.99 a month after a 30-day free trial.
